New Center of Expertise on Cyber Security Established by The Hague University of Applied Science

The Center of Expertise on Cyber Security has been busy for some time now, but on the 26^th of May, the executive board of The Hague University of Applied Sciences has officially showed its support and now only has to approve the business plan.

There is a growing demand from cyber security professionals, from both  government institutions and businesses, as recent research by the Scientific Research and Documentation Centre (WODC) of the Ministry of Security and Justice shows. The center develops research and education in the cyber security domain, based on that demand. The fact that it is established in the Hague is no surprise, says manager Stefan Ellenbroek: ‘’The Hague is focused on cyber security, with The Hague Security Delta and institutions like the Cyber Security Academy. This made the choice for location easy.’’
