IT leaders rank cybersecurity among their top concerns, but the scarcity of talent and lack of development opportunities for new entrants leaves organisations struggling to meet this challenge, a global survey of senior managers by Experis, ManpowerGroup’s professional resourcing and project-based solutions arm has found.
Cybersecurity was the most frequently cited in-demand skill set globally (32%), followed by software development (18%), as per the ‘protecting your organisation in a talent-scarce market’ survey.
The perceived talent shortage is borne out by market data, which suggests that the gap between supply and demand for cyber security professionals globally will be nearly 1.5 million workers by 2019. For the full article click here
