At the fourth annual Maryland Cybersecurity Center Symposium on Monday, visitors arrived at the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center to learn about cybersecurity issues such as security certificate removal from hacked sites and bitcoin.
Sponsored by the computer, mathematical and natural sciences college and the engineering school, the event drew about 150 registered attendees and featured 11 faculty and student speakers from the Maryland Cybersecurity Center, said Jonathan Katz, the center’s director.
