ICIT Briefing: The Anatomy of Cyber Jihad

ICIT hosted a briefing on its recent publication entitled “The Anatomy of Cyber-Jihad: Cyberspace is the New Great Equalizer.”

A new threat actor has emerged who uses technological means to bring terror and chaos to our nation and its allies: the Cyber-Jihadist.  This new malicious actor is consumed with the religious extremism of the crusades and armed with a full arsenal of technological weaponry that can bring an attack directly to the doorstep of every organization, man, woman and child in the United States and Europe.

 Artificial Intelligence and predictive analytics were among the technologies discuss during a panel on how to respond to the growing threat of cyber jihad.
