Haifa and Kent Universities are going to merge their expertise in a major deal to work on the global threat of cyber-security.
The Cabinet Office in the UK announced that the Israeli and British schools have signed a £1.2 million joint cyber-security research project.
The project will include three bilateral groups tackling identity management, regulation, privacy, mobile and cloud, usability and cryptography.
“Our project is about estimating the level of security offered by biometric systems, while concentrating on face-based systems. We combine our methodology with tools developed by Kent’s researchers, along with our expertise in computer security,” said Dr Orr Dunkelman, head of the Haifa University team.
