Tiversa, a cybersecurity company that offers up digital security services to other companies, went against every known corporate code of ethics, when it put its client’s network in jeopardy on purpose.
A former employee of Tiversa, in his court testimony said that his former employers falsely alerted their client-LabMD, a medical testing company based in Atlanta, of a hack on the network with the intention of getting money from them.
The real scenario, according to the former employee, was that Tiversa infiltrated LabMD’s network and gained access to some important files, which they used as pro fee of of the false hack claim.
All hell broke loose when LabMD refused to pay incidents to the cyber security company.
The case is currently in court.
