ARC Advisory Group conducted an extensive industrial cybersecurity program at the recent 2015 Industry Forum in Orlando, Florida. Keynotes, workshops, end user case studies, and a panel discussion among experts about securing the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) provided attendees with a variety of valuable learning experiences. Cybersecurity was also the focus of many suppliers in the Forum exhibition area.
Strong attendance in program sessions helped demonstrate that cybersecurity remains a major industrial concern. Positive feedback from the di-verse group of attendees also shows the ongoing need for programs that deliver different educational opportunities and enable broad-based networking among end users, cybersecurity specialists, and solution providers.
This ARC Insight summarizes two cybersecurity sessions focused on the strategies companies are using to manage their risks. Each session included two case studies and a panel discussion.
Cybersecurity was discussed in other Forum sessions as well, particularly the sessions on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Learnings from those sessions are addressed in future ARC Insights.
