DOJ Rolls Out Cybersecurity Guidance To Deal With Threats

The U.S. Department of Justice unveiled cybersecurity guidance Wednesday that pushes businesses to have solid breach response plans in place before an attack hits, retain experienced legal counsel and remain vigilant even after an incident appears to be under control.

At a roundtable with business leaders to discuss data security, the DOJ’s recently established cybersecurity unit released a set of best practices aimed at helping businesses better prepare for and respond to the rash of breaches that have been hitting a wide range of industries….
