Who is responsible for today’s cyber risk management?

Join us for an afternoon of interesting talks and panel discussions with industry leaders in business, government and law that focus on the issue of who should take responsibility for the cybersecurity issues currently affecting our communities.

In an increasingly online society, cybersecurity is at the forefront of issues affecting both public and private sectors. Each week new devices connecting people to the web are released or upgraded. With each new piece of digital technology, internet-connected device and mobile media comes a plethora of risks and opportunities for consumers, businesses and tech firms, among others. Combating a pervasive threat of cyber-attacks remains a top priority for regulators, policymakers, companies and the information and communication technology (ICT) industry. Increasingly, however, we see rising tensions between public and private interests in the struggle to define the roles of governments and businesses in cyber risk management.
