SIERRA VISTA — A significant step in the effort to establish Sierra Vista as a cybersecurity hub has been achieved with the creation of a cyber operations degree program at the University of Arizona South.
Final approval came last month, but architects of the program James Shockey, dean of UA South, and Linda Denno, faculty member and program developer, have been working on the program — which is a new concentration within the university’s existing bachelor of applied science program — for nearly a year.
