Faculty member to lead cybersecurity panel in Washington, D.C.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A Penn State faculty member internationally recognized as a technology policy expert and who has been named by Time Magazine as one of the most influential figures in technology, will moderate a panel focused on cybersecurity May 2 during theCampaignTech East Conference at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.

Sascha Meinrath, the Palmer Chair in Telecommunications, will moderate the session titled “Getting Serious About Cybersecurity.”

The two-day conference (May 2-3) provides perspective on digital strategies, marketing tools and technologies for this campaign cycle and beyond.

Meinrath joined Penn State in 2015. He also serves as director of X-Lab, an innovative think tank focusing on the intersection of vanguard technologies and public policy.  For the full article click here
