SHERMAN, Texas — Congressman John Ratcliffe and Congressman Michael Burgess attended a cyber security field hearing at Austin College Thursday morning.
Ratcliffe wanted to meet with law enforcement officers to get their opinion of the state of cybersecurity at a local level.
Ratcliffe says the purpose is to find out how the federal government can keep America safe from these types of crimes.
He says one way is to increase the federal funding.
A 2009 study by McAfee shows cybercrime may cost international business $1 trillion a year. For the full article click here
